Introduction: Little is known about Self-Injurious Thoughts & Behaviors and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury in firefighters two East Coast United States metropolitan fire departments based on service tenure. Method: • Study comprised of parts, a survey questionnaire, both conducted online. Using the Computer Adaptive Test–Suicide Scale The only computer-based adaptive mental behavioral health assessment clinically validated worldwide. Validated against face-to-face structured clinician-led assessment. Participants received unique identifier hyperlink allowing them access confidentiality. was completed participants' personal electronic devices, their own time, at pace. A single-factor or One-Way ANOVA tested for significant relationship between variables four tenure groups simultaneously. Time administration averaged 86 seconds, with median eleven questions. Results: C-SSRS identified six participants triggering suicide alerts. One early-career category five late-career category. CAT-SS one participant as high-risk 33 suicidality. Conclusion: Early-career have more self-injurious thoughts behaviors mid-career least.
